We believe that singing supports your mental health. It is a shared activity that encourages new friendships. Our supportive environment and skilled musical direction means that you can continue to sing well and enjoy music for many years to come.

The idea was initially launched in Exeter Philharmonic Choir’s weekly newsletter and triggered a positive response amonsgt members, indicating a genuine need among the older members to meet during the day, have shorter daytime concerts, easy parking and no night driving.

It was easy for form a committee from those interested and they have brought with them many years of experience as treasurer, chair and membership secretary of the Exeter Philharmonic choir.
